CPA Snooker

The CPA currently run two snooker teams which both play in the premier division of the Haslingden and District snooker league.

The A team have been together for many years, originally playing for the Crawshawbooth Conservative Club before its sad closure in 2003, winning league and cup titles before relocating to the CPA where they are still competing and battling for the champions spot!

The B team were formed in 2004 and secured promotion into the premier league in 2007. They have enjoyed much success lately, winning back-to-back league titles for the past three years and are the current league champions.

We are immensely proud of our snooker facilities at the CPA and we believe the match table is one of the very best in the area with a superfine cloth and modern lighting fixed at ceiling height, replacing the old style hanging shade and dull lighting seen in many venues.

To complement the match table there is also another quality, full-size table in the snooker room and both tables are well used, especially on a Friday when the old boys come in for a game and a pint!

New team members are always welcome, along with anyone who just wants a knockabout, so if snooker is your thing, you won’t find a better or friendlier venue than the CPA
